Saint Henry the II
Aside from being the Holy Roman Emperor, Henry II was known as Saint Henry the Exuberant because of his exuberant demeanor. The Ottonian dynasty ended with his death in 1024, and he was the final Ottonian ruler. When his second cousin, Emperor Otto III, unexpectedly died in 1002, Henry became king of the Romans ("Rex Romanorum"), became king of Italy ("Rex Italiae") in 1004, and was consecrated emperor by Pope Benedict VIII in 1014 as Duke of Bavaria.
