Born in poverty, St. Isidore of Seville was known for his generosity and charity to the poor. He was married to another saint, Maria Torriba, who always had a pot over the fire because her husband would always come home with beggars to eat. Aside from his hard-working attitude, he was a dedicated Christian and prayed often. He was canonized in 1622 and is the patron saint of farmers and laborers.
