Saint Mark

The patron saint of lions, lawyers, prisoners, interpreters, and more, Mark was known as Mark the evangelist and a convert of Peter. He chronicled the second gospel in Greek and went on many missionary trips with other disciples of the church. Before his death, he was seized by the heathens, dragged over stones and imprisoned. He is celebrated on April 25th and his liturgical color is red.
