Philip, one of Jesus' disciples and apostles, is a prominent figure in the Bible and is often associated with the miracle of the five loaves and two fishes. He was born in Bethsaida. He was persecuted and crucified for propagating Christianity. He is the patron saint of pastry chefs, Uruguay, Cape Verde, and hatters. He is celebrated every November on the 14th day.
